Data Protection

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our organisation. Our compliance with the relevant data protection regulations ensures that your privacy and your personal data are safeguarded.

You can visit our web pages without telling us who you are, remaining anonymous as far as we are concerned. Your personal data will only be stored if you enter them voluntarily on the website, e.g. when registering to receive our newsletter or if you enter details on our contact form.

Newsletter and contact

If you subscribe to our electronic newsletter, we will store your name and email address until the newsletter is sent out. These data will be stored and used exclusively for the purpose of distribution of the newsletter. These data will not be passed on to third parties. You may end your subscription to the newsletter at any time.

You may enter your personal data – name and email address – on our website in order to contact us. These data will be used and stored exclusively for the purpose of dealing with your message. They will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties unless you explicitly agree to this (consent).

Social media links

We hope you like our web pages and would be happy for you to recommend them to others. We use so-called social plugins for this. By using the sharebuttons which are available on our pages for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Pinterest or LinkedIn, you can point out our web pages on these platforms.

By accessing websites with a social plugin, certain information is  communicated to Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA), Twitter (Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA), Pinterest (Pinterest Inc., 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA 94103-4904, USA) or linkedIn (LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA).

The content of the plugin is transmitted by the social media platform operator directly to your browser and incorporated by it into the web page, which is why we have no influence on the nature and amount of the data that are conveyed. The data which are transmitted are (probably) the URL of the page that is visited and the IP address used by you and/or another platform-dependent identifier. At this point, you are logged on to the relevant social media platform and the platform can assign the visit to these web pages to your user account.

Please refer to the data protection notices of the social media platform operators concerned for the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the operators and for your rights in this regard and setting options for the protection of your privacy.

You can also recommend a page of our website to others by clicking on “Recommend this page to someone”. To recommend a page, you have to enter your name, your email address, the recipient’s email address and (optionally) a message. We use these personal data exclusively to send the recipient the recommendation and if necessary your message on your behalf.  They will not be used for other purposes or passed on to third parties. Once the recommendation has been sent, we delete these data.
