Types of Membership in IACDE

There are a variety of membership types within IACDE. Learn more about these memberships below to find out which kind is valid for YOU. For a complete explanation of membership types, please refer to IACDE By laws. If you wish to become a member or change your membership type, email to: info@iacde.net or to your LOCAL NATIONAL CHAPTER.

Note that the IACDE membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December annually. New members joining mid-year receive full membership benefits upon enrollment, including online access to all previously published IACDE presentations and the gallery.

Dues are 50 USD per year

Regular Membership in IACDE is for all type of pattern designers and technical designers who have been educated in this field.

Dues are 100 USD per year

Includes Executives within the apparel industry as well as within brand manufacturing companies. Not educated in pattern design or similar.

Dues are 1.500 USD per year

Companies serving as suppliers to the apparel industry (such as Interlining, buttons, pressing machines, sewing machines, …) can become an Industrial member within IACDE.

Every chapter may nominate one Young Talent for a free membership for 2 years, providing the YT stays in the Club after his/her free membership ends. If not, the Young Talent will be invoiced for one year.

  1. Membership fees are due beginning of February of each year. The annual membership fee for new members for the year in question must be paid within four weeks after confirmation of the date of entry.
  2. The amount has to be paid to the IACDE account, with reference to the name, invoice number and kind of payment (Membership fee) to following bank account:
