astrid hanenkamp

3D Fashion Designer, Freelancer

I’m a 3D fashion designer with a passion for bringing contemporary knitwear, sweaters, cut-and-sew, and soft wovens to life—whether in 3D or 2D. I work alongside fashion companies to turn design concepts into stunning digital realities, using cutting-edge tools like Browzwear, Style3D, and Blender. This is my third year at the IACDE 3D Summit, where I thrive on the fresh challenges and innovative digital garments that each event inspires. For me, 3D fashion is both a canvas for creative expression and a powerful way to guide brands toward more sustainable practices.

Fashion Designer, TFG

I am a Traditional a 2D Fashion Designer with 20 years’ experience, who has recently cross-trained into the exciting world of 3D Fashion Design about 3 years ago. I am loving every moment being at the edge of this kind of technology, and all it’s possibilities, and honoured to have been invited to collaborate on this year’s exciting event.

The previous IACDE 3D Summit events have been so valuable to me. Not only has it exponentially enhanced my 3D skills, but it has also challenged me into developing product types and using technologies that I, otherwise, would not have considered attempting so soon on this journey. In a world where everyone seems to be gatekeeping information, this event offers upskilling opportunities for everyone from around the world, and networking with talented professionals who are genuinely energized to share their knowledge!

dorelle mcpherson

Technical Design Manager, The Fashion Tech
Special Events Coordinator, IACDE 3D Summit

We live in extraordinary times where technology and creativity intersect in unprecedented ways. My journey in the fashion industry spans over 25 years, from my early days walking down NYC’s 7th Avenue, inspired by my mother—a skilled seamstress and pattern maker in the garment district—to my education at the High School of Fashion Industries and F.I.T. College.

From sales to design, Fashion Week to global factory visits, I’ve witnessed the industry evolve and adapt. Today, I’m focused on its future—leading the charge in Digital and Sustainable Fashion. Over the past 8 years, I’ve immersed myself in 3D Fashion, using this transformative medium to empower professionals, brands, and companies to navigate the digital landscape.

As the “3D Evangelist,” I am passionate about blending artistry and technology to create, educate, and inspire. Through technical design, digital product creation, and management, I am dedicated to shaping a more sustainable and innovative industry—building a bridge between tradition and the future of fashion.

Amber Isaac

Founder, Tailorex

I founded Tailorex in 2021 out of an organic need to empower the apparel industry toward a more sustainable future. With a career in fashion, immersed in technical design and patternmaking, my talent for great fit exploded through digital product. I didn’t just validate the common assumption that digital fashion reduced time and resources but established a new standard of excellence which is downright enviable, receiving Bulk approvals on 1st fit samples, season over season. I have taken these wins and used them to build teams to do the same. My vision is that success is the result of a passion for one’s craft plus creativity to find solutions to everyday problems, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. It is my pleasure to partner with IACDE to further the reach of digital fashion and encourage the next generation to wonder what is possible.

Change maker in Design

I am a change maker in design, and I want to challenge the system of the fashion industry and foster a closer connection between designers and consumers.

The IACDE 3D Summit is a great initiative for driving the development of the implementation of 3D technology in fashion.
To support this cause, I volunteered this year by designing graphics, contributing my skills to enhance the visual experience of the summit and promote innovative ideas in the industry.

Co-Founder & Head of 3D Tech Design

I am the head of 3D technical design and co-founder at 3D Fashion Solutions, an end-to-end service company focused on digital product creation that helps brands transitioning to DPC unlock the full potential of 3D technology to streamline their workflows, reduce time-to-market, and enhance their overall product quality. I have worked in 3D and Tech Design departments at Coldwater Creek, Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein, advising internal teams on best practices when working with 3D and AI software helping establish their 3D standards for their vendor teams.

3D has become more than just a tool for me—it feels like an extension of who I am. While client work is rewarding, it’s important for me to stay connected to the creative side of 3D and remain active within the 3D fashion community. Engaging with others through the IACDE, sharing insights, exchanging ideas, and building relationships helps me stay inspired and continuously grow.
